Antifungals

Fungal infections can affect the skin, scalp and nails. Antifungal drugs treat fungal infections by killing or stopping the growth of dangerous fungi in the body.

Athletes Foot Cipla

Athlete's Foot

Despite what the name suggests, athlete’s foot does not only affect the fitness freaks. It’s a common fungal infection. If you find a scaly rash that causes itching, stinging and burning (usually between your toes) it’s likely you have athlete’s foot.

It is contagious, so be careful not to contaminate floors, towels or clothing. The good news is that it’s easily treatable with over-the-counter antifungal medication. If you are diabetic, closely monitor the condition and consult a healthcare professional to prevent more serious complications.

Thrush

Thrush is caused by a fungus called candida. Thrush is a common yeast infection that affects men and women. It’s usually harmless for generally healthy people but it can be uncomfortable. It can be cleared up with antifungal treatment1.
